Comments: The Winona Art Center (WAC) has a rich history dating back to 1963. Initially a small group of local artists and art lovers purchased the WAC building. It continues to be operated as a community member owned and run art center. The WAC is a creative network committed to increasing community awareness of the arts by featuring the work of local and regional artists, providing an intimate and unique space for performances and exhibits and encouraging public participation by providing classes and workshops for children and adults. The WAC hopes to inspire and educate the community by bringing artists from other areas to the WAC and to showcase the talent of local artists.
